Members of BRSI below the age of 40 years as on 31st December 2021 involved in Environmental Biotech R&D for outstanding contributions are eligible for this award

The Society confers Fellow awards in three categories as below

Members of BRSI of 35 years or below as on 31st December of award year involved in Biotech R&D for his/her outstanding contributions would be eligible.

Women members of BRSI below the age of 45 years as on 31st December of award year involved in Biotech R&D for her outstanding contributions would be eligible for this award.

Members of BRSI involved in Biotech R&D for his/her outstanding contribution, which has resulted in commercialization of a product/process will be selected for this award.

This award has been instituted by the Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai instituted in 2006. Members of BRSI registered for PhD studies in any Indian university/institute below the age of 30 years as on 31st December of award year involved in Biotech R&D for his/her outstanding performance will be selected for the award.
